The Mission of the BCEDC

Bucks County Economic Development Corporation is a non-profit, non-political economic development organization established in 1958 to support economic growth in Bucks County. BCEDC is a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certified economic development agency. BCEDC offers low cost financing options for land/building, machinery and equipment. These and other incentive programs offered through BCEDC create a strong and vital economy for Bucks County and in return create and retain jobs for Bucks County residents.

The Goals of the BCEDC

BCEDC offers a wide array of financial services, site selection assistance, and other programs to promote and enhance the growth of our county's business and industrial sectors.

BCEDC Loan Programs:

The BCEDC provides low-interest financial assistance tailored for land, building, and machinery and equipment to assist companies in expansion and relocation. The BCEDC combines various federal, state, and local economic development programs to create financing alternatives with rates as low as 2.75%. More information on Loan Programs.

Site Selection: We are partnered with a Real Estate Research Company. BCEDC will conduct a search for you assisting you to find the perfect building or land for your project.

Training: BCEDC assists firms in the recruitment and training of new employees through Customized Job Training (CJT) and WEDnet Guaranteed Free Training program in cooperation with the Bucks County Community College Center for Business and Industry Training.

Planning: In cooperation with other entities, we help determine the long-range planning needs of Bucks County. We develop and institute actions to provide improvements which will further economic growth in the County.

Coordination: We maintain a cooperative relationship with other local community economic development agencies and local governments to benefit each respective community.

Education: BCEDC sponsors seminars on a wide range of timely topics of interest to Bucks County businesses.
