LAMPIRE Biological Laboratories and Millersville University Commemorate the First Anniversary of their Collaboration in Establishing an Innovative Biotech Incubator Site.

LAMPIRE Biological Laboratories and Millersville University are approaching the one-year milestone of their partnership to create a Life Science incubator at Millersville’s campus. The laboratory is set to commemorate its first anniversary on March 31, 2024. LAMPIRE is a privately held international biotech life science company that produces biological reagents used in the diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries. In addition, the company is active in the community, supporting life science education programs and workforce development at both the local and state levels.

Vacancy continued to rise for the fourth consecutive quarter, driven by a surplus of new construction outpacing demand. New project completions reached a low point, with just under 1.6 million square feet finished in Q4— a significant drop from the previous quarter's 9.3 million square feet. Projects under construction also hit their lowest since the pandemic shutdown.

SCORE Mentors: Serving Entrepreneurs in Bucks, Montgomery Counties

SCORE Bucks County is a local chapter of a national nonprofit organization focused on providing low- or no-cost mentoring services to business owners and entrepreneurs throughout the life of their business. The chapter’s 60 volunteer mentors provide invaluable guidance to Bucks County entrepreneurs, as well as those in the eastern portion of Montgomery County, from Willow Grove to Blue Bell.

PA Catalyst Loan Fund and Diverse Business Financing Initiative

Have you heard? BCEDC has two loan programs that may assist your small business in Bucks County.

PA Catalyst Loan Fund

Borrowers must be for-profit businesses or farms with less than 500 employees at the time of application. The maximum amount to borrow – up to $500,000.

The PIDA Board has made financing available to qualifying Pennsylvania small businesses at a 5.00% rate fixed for the term of the loan. Adjustable rates are also available. These rates are good for completed loan applications received through March 31, 2024. Eligible applicants include:

The Darlington Team, Steve Darlington, Jesse Darlington and Marcia Hill listed and sold the real estate and business.

The 50,000 +/- square foot building on approximately 4.6 acres will be available to a single user or multiple users depending on their space requirements with a minimum square footage of at least 10,000 square foot. The property may be available for acquisition by a user.
