BCEDC New Member, Airmid Wellness, Shares Information on Their EAP
Airmid Wellness and Counseling Center is a local female-owned wellness and counseling center with a team of seventeen compassionate therapists along with wellness instructors, coaches, and massage therapists providing classes, workshops, and talk therapy for individuals, businesses, and organizations, available in-person, on-site, and online.
Employee wellness benefits are now necessary for attracting and retaining great people and inspiring them to live more healthy, happy and productive lives. The wellness team at Airmid has designed an Employee Wellness Program to help local businesses, organizations, and nonprofits with mental health and wellness support for the well-being of their members.
Airmid’s Program can be customized to include on-site health fairs, workshops and healthy lunch-and-learns on topics such as mindfulness tools, stress reduction techniques, and self-care. Access is also available to their in-studio, virtual and video-on-demand wellness classes.
An important feature is their Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) which provides employees the opportunity to receive confidential support from a professional counselor to help address workplace or home-related issues that may be affecting their health, emotional well-being and job performance. Confidentiality is maintained in accordance with HIPPA privacy laws and ethical standards.
When organizations need to cope with workplace violence, trauma, or other emergency response situations, Airmid’s team of professional therapists is also available to provide on-site group or private one-on-one support sessions.
