Neil Armstrong Middle School Partnered with Lampire Receives Outstanding Overall Achievement Award
Lampire participated in the “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing” student project this year. This contest is designed to help build a pipeline of technical talent and give students a new perspective on careers in manufacturing. Lampire was partnered with the students from Neil Armstrong Middle School.
Over the last few months, they have visited our Eastern, PA sites to speak with our staff, tour our facilities and film. Their hard work and effort are evident in their submission, and we are excited and thrilled to be their featured manufacturer, said Greg Krug, President, Lampire Biological Laboratories, Inc., BCEDC Board of Director.
They received the Outstanding Overall Achievement Award and had been selected as one of two videos from the Philadelphia Contest to advance to the annual Pennsylvania Statewide WSCM Awards on May 18th Unfortunately, Neil Armstrong Middle School did not place in the Pennsylvania Statewide Contest. The Lampire Team is very proud of the hard work and effort from the students and look forward to participating again next year.
