History of TJM Electronics

Founded in 1991 by Thomas J. McCarthy, TJM was the first private company in its area with both auto P&P and Mil 2000a quality spec. Listed as Philly's Top 100 for three consecutive years and 5 consecutive years for Deliotte & Touche, TJM won several awards making them a recognized and preferred supplier. By 2000, TJM grew to a $16M business, specializing in electronic manufacturing and design for the aerospace & defense industries. Martelli Ivyland

Martelli Realty, LLC was approved for a 10-year, $522,000 loan at a 1.75 percent fixed rate to acquire a 15,128-square-foot industrial building situated on two acres in Ivyland. The building, adjacent to the company’s current facility, will allow for the expansion of The Martelli Companies, a group of related entities, into both facilities. The Martelli Companies are an equipment moving and transportation provider. Doyle Machine Tool, Inc., a Martelli Company, is expected to occupy approximately 75 percent of the space with the remaining 25 percent occupied by other various Martelli Companies due to its proximity to their current facility and the shared resources of the companies. Given this unique relationship between companies, all entities of The Martelli Companies will commit to retaining their current 40 full-time employees over three years.

I am originally from Angola. Angola is a country south west of Africa. Angola was in a civil war for 32 years run by a dictator President who was in power for over 30 years. I used to work for Chevron as a Helicopter Dispatcher. I left my wife and our 3 children in Angola and fled the country for political asylum.
