DiversityInc Recognizes PPL Corporation as a Top Company for Diversity and Inclusion
Company earned spots on DiversityInc Top Utilities and Environmental, Social and Governance lists
PPL Corporation (NYSE:PPL) has been recognized by DiversityInc as one of the top utilities in the nation for its workforce diversity and one of the Top 50 Companies for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).

Each year, DiversityInc evaluates companies based on survey responses that detail the makeup of their workforce, talent programs, leadership accountability, workplace practices, philanthropy and supplier diversity. An overall Top 50 list is developed from the survey data, and subsets of the same data are used to determine several specialty lists, including utilities and ESG.
This honor is reflective of the efforts across PPL’s U.S. operations and is a nod to the company’s focus on creating an inclusive workplace, supporting the diverse communities it serves and developing strong relationships with diverse suppliers. These efforts include:
- Adopting a companywide DEI strategy and five commitments focused on developing our workforce, maintaining an inclusive culture, supporting our communities and customers, and doing business with more diverse suppliers.
- Aligning all DEI initiatives and plans with the corporate strategy to focus efforts and maintain consistent accountability and measurement.
- Expanding the mission and focus of the PPL Foundation to more directly support racial justice and equity initiatives in the communities it serves.
- Engaging with employees through 16 employee-led resource groups that foster professional development, promote cultural awareness and support the communities we serve.
