We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our BCEDC Board Member and dear friend, Phillip Eastman, who passed away on Saturday.
He was truly the voice of reason—thoughtful, dedicated, steady, and always willing to step up when it mattered most. He was the kind of person who didn’t just offer advice; he led the charge, bringing people together and helping move important work forward.
Above all, he was a great guy—a person of integrity, commitment, and genuine care for our community and the people around him. His presence, wisdom, and dedication will be deeply missed, and his contributions to BCEDC will not be forgotten.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. May he rest in peace.
