In collaboration with the Bucks County Planning Commission, the BCEDC is pleased to announce the launch of a new interactive web map application.
The new web based BCEDC Industrial/Office Site and Zoning Map shows detailed interactive visual information on office and industrial sites, municipal jurisdictions, transportation, preserved open space and zoning across the county. The industrial/office zoning districts are derived from the Bucks County Municipal Zoning layer. All industrial and office park points were carried over from the 2011 map. When zoomed in, the county tax parcels will appear. They are configured the same as on the County’s parcel & floodplain viewer. You can click directly on a parcel and its pop-up window will allow users to link out the Board of Assessment information. The zoning districts also have pop-up windows configured to link out to the district’s zoning ordinance language.
The map page opens with the legend/layers section on the left, the map in the middle, and a list of the industrial and office sites on the right. Users can toggle between tabs at the top to view the layers or office parks sections. By clicking on an industrial/office park on the list, the map will zoom directly to that specific point.
