BCEDC Executive Director Scores at the Kilt Contest Held in Downtown Perkasie

The Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce & Perkasie Towne Improvement Association held its First Annual Celtic Festival in Downtown Perkasie on March 19th from 11am- 4pm. The Celtic Fest featured Irish music and dancing, vendors, a kilt contest, kids crafts, and much more.

The event was well attended despite a dismal weather forecast. The day turned out to be warm and sunny, perfect weather to usher in Spring and hold a festival. The organizers are estimating over 2000 attended.

Bob Cormack, BCEDC Executive Director, entered the Kilt Contest with twelve other contestants. Each contestant was being judged on two categories “Best Tartan Ensemble” and “Best Legs in a Kilt”. Bob won the “Best Tartan Ensemble”.
