Provident Bank Expands their Commercial Lending Team
Provident Bank recently expanded its commercial lending team in the Philadelphia Metro Market with the addition of two Relationship Mangers. Chris Smith and Brian Snyder will be responsible for growing the commercial loan portfolio in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties by offering a variety of commercial products, including lines of credit, equipment loans, and real estate mortgages to businesses and real estate investors. In addition, they will work closely with accounting firms, law firms, intermediaries, and trade associations to source new business.
Chris Smith a Senior Vice President, has more than 20 years’ experience in commercial lending, and most recently served as Vice President of Commercial Lending with Bryn Mawr Trust Company. He has held similar positions with TD Bank, Susquehanna Bank and Wachovia. Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, Texas.
Brian Snyder, a Vice President, also brings more than 20 years’ experience in commercial lending to the team. He previously served as Vice President, Relationship Manager with Firstrust. Brian has held similar positions with Bryn Mawr Trust Company, National Penn Bank, First Niagara Bank, and Commerce Bank. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from DeSales University, Center Valley, Pa.
