Mr. Liebert was well liked and respected by those who had the opportunity to meet him. Fellow BCEDC board members and staff had this to say about Pete after hearing of his passing:

Very sorry to hear the sad news about Peter.

It's comforting to read that I’m not the only dad who tells the same stories over and over again.

He was very nice man and consummate professional who will be truly missed.

...I read it with tears in my eyes. Peter was a good man, a good friend, and one of my favorite people. We will miss him.

I knew of his cancer several years ago, but he was always in very good spirits whenever we met. He was a good man.

Pete was one of the good ones, always a gentleman.

Peter had such a positive spin on all facets of life, whether it was with work to family. He was a great storyteller who always brought laugher to the forefront. He will be missed but never forgotten!

Peter will be missed by his BCEDC family. He was greatly appreciated for all the time and wisdom he gave to the EDC.
